If you are thinking of hiring someone, we strongly recommend that you read this article carefully, because if the person you want to hire meets the requirements for hiring them through a training contract, you could save a lot compared to a standard contract.
The training contract benefits workers with insertion into the working world and, in turn, training through a professional certificate they study according to the position and occupation they perform. For a company, hiring young people in this contractual modality carries with it the 100% bonus of social security quotas, with a maximum of 3 years, which is how long the professional certificate they study lasts. To benefit, companies and workers of this type of contract must meet a series of requirements:
COMPANIES:
- Have no debt with administrations (be current with Tax Agency and Social Security).
WORKERS:
- Under 25 years old (people with functional diversity equal to or greater than 33% without age limit).
- Have no formal training for the position they are going to perform (for example, can be a pedagogue and work with a waiter training contract, since they do not have formal training for that position)
- Be an active job seeker.
- Be registered in the Youth Guarantee and Incentívate Program.
Aspects to consider regarding the contract for training and apprenticeship:
- The contract application once registered, can take a maximum of 32 days.
- The worker cannot be alone in their workplace.
- The training contract is for 30 hours. Therefore, if they work 30 hours, they train for 10 hours. The cost for the company is for the 30 hours of work.
- The worker cannot do night shifts, unless 75% of their workday is during daytime hours.
- Workers cannot work in shifts. Must have an established shift.
- The training is carried out outside the workplace online. Having face-to-face tutorials and exams marked by the training itinerary. They will be communicated to the worker and company in advance, for internal company organization.
From our Online Consultancy Nomaspapel, we want to inform our clients that the certifications we currently have are related to Hospitality, Commerce, and Administration.
For example, if you hire a room waiter/waitress for 30 hours with a temporary contract, the cost for the company would amount to €1670.62, while if you do it through a training contract, the cost would become €1237.50, producing a saving of €435.12.
Finally, we would like to highlight not only the benefit companies have with the 100% bonus of social security quotas, with a maximum of 3 years, which is the duration of the professional certificate they study (about €18,000 / worker approximately over the duration of the contract to which we would have to add the Incentívate aid, totaling €22,000 / worker). We highlight above all, the Corporate Social Responsibility we all have today, so that from the position we are in, we can help those most in need, and in your case, if they start working in this contractual modality, they not only give job stability but also training, molding excellent future professionals.
